wrapped himself around Krishna's body. Krishna became so huge that
Kāliya had to release him.

"Why is it that the form of the Personality of Godhead, which He
manifests only by His own wish, and which is made of the sweetness of
transcendental pastimes, is famous everywhere for its dark complexion?"

With rare gems and jewels decorating his body, the young Krishna danced
on the thousand heads of Kaliya, thus adorning those poisonous hoods
with his divine footmarks
